I feel the bed move next to me and see Nightmare waking up in response to the noise. Only stopping when I heard a small cry coming from the baby monitor on the table on Nightmare’s side. I shoot up sweating and crying, feeling an ache in my soul. I looked up and saw myself “You did this, it's all your fault.” They are dust, my babies and husband are gone. That tiny cry implanted itself into Killer’s memory forever. Killer could feel his eyes watering once the tiny, very quiet cry reached his ears, and started bawling once both his and Nightmare’s children were given back to them. The doctors tried everything to bring Crescent back.

When the twins were born the new guardian of positiveity, Eclipse, was strong and healthy and was handed to Killer, but Crescent, the new negative guardian, wasn’t moving. When Nightmare was pregnant with their twins Sci had told them that one may not make it due to the other one taking all the resources. They could barely get enough food to survive but every time Papyrus cried that meant he was alive and had enough energy to voice his discomfort. Once Gaster died the two little skeletons were on the streets. Papy was alive but their mother would pay with their life. Killer sat outside of the hospital room for hours just waiting to hear the news of his brother’s death, but what came was a loud wail. Papyrus had a small chance of surviving due to Killer’s mother being sick. This feeling spans all the way back to when Papyrus was born. This wasn’t because he was a psychic murderer but because it gave him a feeling of reassurance. Killer has enjoyed the cries of children for as long as he could remember.
